Siding caulk can disintegrate over time, exposing the wood sheathing of your home.  In addition, the protection of your home against rain is limited or non-existent, causing water to run through and damage the fascia and trim around your home.  Take a moment and check your exterior for signs of disintegration.   If you notice signs of wear to your siding or deck, Ken's Construction can help.  One call could save you thousands of dollars.

Ken’s Construction Co. inspected the crawl space of multiple homes on Kensington Dr in Cary, NC. The moisture barriers of these homes were decayed, brittle, and disintegrated.   Fragmented moisture barriers allow moisture to evaporate into the insulation, causing it to fall and decay. Insulation creates a thermal barrier that helps reduce the loss of heat or air that escapes through your home’s surfaces. This loss of insulation can cause your utility bills to increase, sometimes doubling, due to the loss of energy efficiency created by a damaged moisture barrier.
